Commissions

I am willing to work on a variety of subject matter in different media. I would list my strengths as watercolour paintings, acrylic paintings, and pen and ink drawings. Subject wise I have a lot of experience with landscapes and scenery, but I am certainly able to take on most subject matter. I do reserve the right to refuse any subject at my own discretion.

I can work from a photograph or a series of photos. I would like as much information about the subject as is possible. If it is feasible I would prefer to be able to gather some background information about the commission as well. Should the commissioner want things to appear in any customized way, I would welcome the opportunity to produce something unique, and take great care and pride in producing exactly what is being asked for.

I will communicate directly with the commissioner, to review the subject, the size, the price, and the required completion date. The commission will begin upon receipt of 25% of the total price (which is non-refundable). I will provide previews of the commission as it progresses. Shipping will be arranged (at the commissioner’s cost) once they are satisfied with the final painting. The commissioned painting will be shipped once the final payment is received.

Commissioned Original/Limited Edition Prints Sets

I am quite willing to take on commission projects that will include a limited edition print run of the commissioned piece. This could be for a company or group that might want to retain or sell the original piece but provide prints to members, employees, or sell them publicly perhaps as a fundraising project. I can manage all steps of that process, and will charge a flat rate per print, charge that above the cost of having the printing done.

Commissioned Original/Art Cards

Should you wish to have customized original/art cards produced I will do a commissioned or customized painting. The image will then be scanned and the cards will be printed along with matching envelopes. You are free to provide the content for inside the card, which can include text, photos, and any layout requirements. These will be sold and shipped as a single package (original, cards, and envelopes) with a minimum requirement of 250 cards and envelopes.

Corporate Commissions

I am able to do corporate commissions, such as a series of themed paintings, for a calendar, any type of advertising, or display in corporate offices, and other related establishments. All pricing would be subject to negotiation, with a benefit for purchases based on volume.
