This watercolour was painted by me from a series of pictures of the farm road near Dauphin, Manitoba. On of the more interesting things in the painting to me it the walking tracks to the well pump. Even in the dead of winter the people that lived here had to trudge through the snow to get their drinking water.
This was the second time I painted that scene, and the first time in the winter season.
