Oil Pastel on Pastel Paper

Started in 1981 (finished in 1995)
Moraine Lake is the completion of an art project that I began doing while in high school. The assignment was to do a landscape using oil pastels and I took on way more than I was able to complete. I actually used a knife and my fingers to make the snow in the mountains by cutting pastel off at the tip and pressing it into the paper. I have since given away my oil pastels but I have some soft pastels that I have yet to try.
